As I stated in my last post I was doing both the “mail-in” and stay part of the IHG Priceless Surprises Promotion. I just finished my last 14 of 94 entries that I will put in mail today, and last night I received my first 49 email entries allowing me to select a floor, and so far I have received 27,500 points, so as you can see I did receive a few 1000 prizes and one 2000 prize! I must note that I received these emails 9 and 10 days from when I sent off the entries, so a lot faster than I thought. I have been sending them in bunches of 20 or so at a time. I have also stayed one night at a Holiday Inn Express, and plan on staying 3 nights in Acapulco, Mexico on my trip starting Sunday and that should complete my Accelerate Promotion giving me an extra 33,500 points from that promotion. I am concerned that things post slowly with IHG as one of my steps in the Accelerate promotion is to download the APP, which I did and even used it to book my last stay, but it still show incomplete, so we’ll see what happens with that!
I am not a huge fan of IHG nor most of their Hotels, I am a die-hard loyal SPG fan, but I think with all these promotions and the few stays I will have over 100,000 points and it will be well worth the time and money invested when I redeem on it! I will keep you posted !
