Tony’s Personally Recommended Travel Gear
After 10+ years of traveling the world — from Rio de Janeiro to Sharm El Sheikh to Mexico City and everywhere in between — people ask me ALL THE TIME what I travel with. This is my answer. Everything here is something I personally use and stand behind. No random “top 10” algorithm lists. This is MY travel kit.

🧳 Luggage & Bags

Briggs & Riley Carry-On
The only luggage brand I trust. Two words: lifetime warranty. Not “limited lifetime” — LIFETIME. They will fix or replace your bag no matter what. I’ve put mine through absolute hell and it still looks great. Buy it once, have it forever.
📱 Tech & Electronics

Bose QuietComfort Ultra Headphones
I’ve tried them all — Bose wins on COMFORT. On a 10+ hour flight, comfort matters more than anything. These block out crying babies, engine noise, that guy three rows back. Worth every penny.
Apple MagSafe Charger
Snaps right onto the back of your iPhone magnetically and charges fast. No fumbling with cables in a dark hotel room. Compact, reliable, and just works. If you’re in the Apple ecosystem — no-brainer.
Portable Power Bank
Essential if you need to charge multiple devices. ⚠️ Important: Most airlines limit you to 100Wh (≈27,000mAh). Your power bank MUST go in carry-on — NOT checked luggage.
Meta Ray-Ban Smart Glasses
Look like regular Ray-Bans but have a built-in camera, speakers, and AI assistant. Snap photos hands-free, take calls, listen to music without earbuds. One of the coolest travel gadgets out there right now.
Extra Charging Cables & Blocks
ALWAYS bring extras. Hotels have limited outlets, airports are a war zone for outlet space, and cables break at the worst time. I bring at least two USB-C cables and a multi-port wall block.
🔌 Adapters & Connectivity
Budi All-in-One Travel Adapter
My FAVORITE travel adapter. Slide-out design covers every plug type — US, EU, UK, AU — all in one compact unit. No more carrying multiple adapters. Used it on every continent. Never let me down.
Multi-Port Wall Plug (USB-A + USB-C)
Charge your phone, tablet, headphones, and watch all from one outlet. Hotel rooms never have enough outlets — this solves that problem completely.
Portable Mini VPN Router
A LIFESAVER. Some countries block social media, news, and streaming. This lets all your devices connect through a secure private connection so you can access everything — including US Netflix — from anywhere.
🧴 Travel Essentials & Life Savers
Tide To Go Pens & Stain Wipes
You WILL spill something on yourself while traveling. It’s not a matter of if, it’s when. A Tide pen has saved my shirts more times than I can count. I keep one in every bag.

Downy Wrinkle Releaser Spray
I’m not ironing anything in a hotel room. Ever. A few sprays on a wrinkled shirt and you look like you just picked it up from the dry cleaner. Get the travel size — TSA-friendly.

Tea Tree Oil (Small Bottle)
Natural antiseptic for cuts, bug bites, skin irritations. A few drops on a mosquito bite and the itching stops. Compact, lasts forever, hundred uses. Make sure to get a TSA-compliant size.

Travel Lint Brush
Dark clothes and travel don’t mix — you pick up lint and dust from airplane seats and hotel furniture everywhere. A compact lint brush takes up almost no space and keeps you looking sharp.

Apple iPhone Case
I always use the Apple branded case. When you’re traveling and your phone is your lifeline — camera, boarding pass, maps, translator, everything — you don’t want to risk it with a flimsy case.
✈️ Travel Services I Use & Recommend
📶 Airalo eSIM
This has changed the way I travel with data. Buy an eSIM from your phone before you land — no SIM card swaps, no insane roaming fees, works in 200+ countries. I cannot recommend this enough.
🔒 NordVPN
I use NordVPN every single time I travel. Protects your data on sketchy hotel and airport WiFi, and lets you access content from back home. Fast, reliable, easy. Been using it for years.
