So I finally broke down and bought a new carry-on a month or so ago. Previously I had used a Samsonite for about 3 years and although it looked a little rough, the only issue with it was the wheels were starting to seize up and make noises and not roll properly. I also have some Tumi luggage and bags, but I researched extensively what to buy, and over and over, Brigs & Riley came up!
I like Samsonite and all that , but it only lasted a few years, (granted several hundred thousand miles flown). Samsonite has a 10 year warranty, and Briggs & Riley has a lifetime one!
As much as I travel I needed something that would last and also looks good, and let me tell you, nothing looks more sleek and nice as a Briggs & Riley!
I actually bought 2, I started with the carry-on roller and also went ahead and got the cabin bag as well!
The Bags

I actually LOVE this bag! This is the older version, that I got for about half the price on Amazon . The only difference is this one is not expandable, and to be honest its smaller than my Samsonite, but to also be honest, I had problems with foreign airlines with my bigger Samsonite. This carry-on is perfect domestic and foreign carry-on size! The craftsmanship is impeccable and it just looks fantastic!
Briggs & Riley Baseline Deluxe Travel Tote,Black
I wanted a matching set so I bought this bag to sit on top of my spinner. There is a pouch in the back that you slide this over the handle of the bigger spinner and it rides on top!
The only thing I might add is this bag is a tad bigger then my spinner, length and width wise, but still looks good riding on top. The bag is huge and fits so many items and has so many pockets, etc!
I was on an escalator with a Delta flight attendant and she had the same bag and said she has had them all over the years and this was her favorite by far!
This bag counts as my “Personal item” in the cabin!
Warranty
As I have mentioned, Briggs & Riley has one of, if not the best warranty in the industry! I have never heard or read about a bad experience with using this warranty, Samsonite on the other had, I have! Don’t get me wrong, Samsonite is a good bag, but Briggs & Riley, I can so for sure now is a GREAT BAG!

As you can see, the one I bought is about half price of the newer one, and I actually paid like $40 less than that! On Amazon always look at different sellers, and see if you can find a better deal!
A friend of mine told me to look at Amazon “used” items but look at the description and only look at things that are open box and you can really save money for actual new items with same warranty!
Wrap-Up
I cant believe I paid this much for bags is what I thought at first, now I am thinking, I cant believe I waited this long to buy! These bags are pristine and I could not be happier!
I have used these bags on 2 foreign trips and am ONLY posting this and recommending them because I LOVE THEM and think you should buy them also! The price for the non expandable version like I have is about half price of any Briggs & Riley luggage so its a GREAT DEAL!
